Leed/Sustainable building

As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, T.Gerding Construction Co. has several LEED Accredited Professionals who will add value to your projects through their expertise in green building. As awareness about sustainability intensifies, green building offers numerous exciting opportunities to address environmental concerns.

To be most effective, TGCC collaborates with the owner and architect early in the design process to determine the appropriate green building level. As appropriate, we employ the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system requirements and building practices.

Let us help you ensure that your building project sustains our environment and our communities for generations to come.

Elements Building

Corvallis, Oregon

Soon to be certified as a LEED Silver Project, the Elements Building sets a new benchmark for green buildings in the Willamette Valley. This six-story building houses Strega, an upscale restaurant featuring local and seasonal cuisine, and 7Stones, a holistic luxury destination spa. The building features a “green” roof, efficient energy systems, and re-used materials throughout.

Example Projects

Crater Lake Cafeteria

Crater Lake, Oregon

We renovated the Crater Lake Cafeteria to meet all the requirements of a LEED Certified Project. In addition to successfully tackling a green project, we met the challenge of taking on a historic renovation in one of our nation’s most scenic places.

Philomath Scout Lodge

Philomath, Oregon

The Philomath Scout Lodge’s design brings harmony between the environment and the building. We used many sustainable and LEED-recognized design and construction techniques to fulfill this vision.
