Calvary Chapel

Corvallis, Oregon

2008 Metallic Magazine Award of Merit

We constructed a 27,000 sq. ft. fellowship hall for this church on a 57-acre site. A pre-engineered metal building comprises the main floor and the lower level is framed with concrete retaining walls, structural steel and slab on a metal deck. Extensive site work and a self-contained fire suppression system were included.

Example Projects

Santiam Christian School

Corvallis, Oregon

A 32,000 sq. ft. addition to the school’s campus included a new gym, weight room, kitchen, cafeteria, locker rooms and classrooms. Work was completed on an aggressive schedule while school was in session.

Agilent Technologies

Corvallis, Oregon

This “Class A” commercial office building encompasses 60,000 sq. ft. Site-cast concrete tilt walls frame the exterior structure. Structural steel, steel bar joists, and cast decks on metal decking support the interior. Construction included numerous special finishes as well as high-tech mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate the company’s needs.

T.Gerding outlined, directed and controlled an incredibly complex schedule that accounted for the activities of every subcontractor throughout the construction period. Their concerns for quality management and construction resulted in a true team spirit among all members involved, minimizing re-dos and change orders.
