Public works
In the past 40 years, T.Gerding Construction Co. has completed more than $200 million in public works projects. TGCC has the enthusiasm and experience to exceed your expectations for efficiency, quality, and budget control.
Whether you need to accomplish an occupied remodel, expand a historic facility, or build a high-tech institution from the ground up, we can handle your project.
Osborn Aquatic Center
Corvallis, Oregon
We renovated an existing 50,000 sq. ft. facility, including an Olympic-sized pool, a 6,000 sq. ft. addition, and new outdoor pool facilities. The new outdoor water park includes an exercise pool, recreational pool with “lazy” water channel, water slide, pool water toys, and bathhouse/locker room facility.

Oregon State University Memorial Union
Corvallis, Oregon
Over the years, we have completed more than 100 remodel and addition projects for Oregon State University. Architecturally, the Memorial Union stands as the flagship building on campus. Construction at this student center included renovating the existing historic exterior and north terrace, adding new entries to the bookstore, reconstructing the interior, and creating new landscaping and irrigation systems.
Columbia High School
Burbank, Washington
This project entailed renovating an existing 41,000 sq. ft. building into new classrooms and state-of-the-art auditorium. In addition, we added 46,000 sq. ft. for administration offices, a commercial kitchen, commons areas, a gymnasium, locker rooms, and weight rooms. We applied extreme care and planning to maintain fire safety and allow occupancy of critical science labs and classrooms during a fast-track schedule.
Crater Lake Lodge
Crater Lake, Oregon
Since 1992, we have completed various rewarding and exciting projects at all times of the year under a variety of challenging environmental conditions at Crater Lake. Beginning with the lodge, we have performed work on numerous park structures, including renovating structures from the 1920s and 1930s, constructing the new Mazama Dormitory, and renovating the kitchen and cafeteria.
“The Brookings Harbor School Renovation project … was a remote and difficult project involving three new buildings, two infill additions and three areas of remodel. It was also fraught with weather, design and environmental problems. Due to the professional and active input from the T.Gerding construction team, we were able to complete this work on time and on budget.”
